Sunrise Health Sunrise Health Service has a unique approach to the delivery of health to all people in the remote communities east of Katherine in the Northern Territory.  We have a philosophy of community participation and a strong focus on multi-disciplinary care coordination.

Sunrise has been operating for more than four years, providing a wide range of services consistent with a holistic primary health care model, including:

  • Primary clinical care services;
  • Emergency care;
  • Health promotion;
  • Social support services;
  • Health checks for well adults and children;
  • Chronic disease care;
  • Nutrition services;
  • Aged Care services;
  • Child Health services;
  • Women’s and Maternal Health services; and
  • Men’s Health Services.

Sunrise currently employs more than 130 staff, 60 per cent of whom are Indigenous across its nine health centres east of Katherine, and Head Office in the centre of town.
